In-game, the player is faced with the same situation as United Earth faced in the show, and the player must make decisions in regards to how they will deal with this wave of xenophobia, and whether they will reject it, or embrace it. They were not opposed to the usage of violence and threatening to achieve their goals, and during the show, they had hijacked a terraforming array and attempted to destroy San Francisco with it, however, they were stopped by the crew of the NX-01 Enterprise. Terra Prime is a xenophobic isolationist extremist group from Star Trek: Enterprise, with the intent of removing all non-humans from Earth and the Sol System.

There are only two events specifically dedicated to United Earth, the rest of the events are dedicated to the United Federation of Planets. United Earth is one of the major powers in ST: New Horizons.
